Submitting a site to shoplocator.com is a simple process but there are several important pieces of information you need to know:
(1) If you have a retail web site which transacts business over the Internet, you may submit your site for review and possible inclusion in our index. We would emphasise that decisions regarding acceptance and placement of a site rest with our editorial committee. Their decision is final. If accepted, your site will normally appear in Shoplocator within two weeks.
(2) Sites selling products associated with sex, drugs and violence will not be considered.
(3) We do not currently charge for site placement, but we do set high standards as to which sites we include. You must read, and agree to meet the following criteria if your site is to be listed:
- Your site must have a Google
Page Rank (PR) of 3 or over and must be of acceptable quality.
- When we have reviewed
your site and if your site is accepted by us, a text link to shoplocator.com
will be emailed to you which must be placed on your default
page or on a static page one level below the default page
and connected to the default page by a standard hyperlink.
(Note: A link to shoplocator.com which is placed on a database or accessed via a javascript link will not be acceptable. We frequently check the continued placement of links and if it is removed from the agreed page on the submitted site, the listing on shoplocator.com will be removed.)
- Our link code must
be added within 7 days of emailing it to you.
- You must contact us by email:- webmaster when you have uploaded our link and we will be happy to finalise your inclusion in our directory.
- Multiple submissions for the same site will result in your site being banned.
